Hey guys I got this PDF version of a book. I was wondering where could I print it for cheap? It's around 475 pages.

Staples prints for like 7 cents. It'll cost you $35 for 500 pages.

Pretty sure the Underground won't let you print copyrighted material (if they see it's copyrighted)...This definitely applies to courseware, not sure about books. Most places have some sort of policy for copyrighted materials, though.

Yea, you might have a hard time finding an establishment that'll allow you to do this. I remember being at Staples once and a lady was asking if they would photocopy a novel for her. The manager was called and he let her know that they would only photocopy 30 or so pages due to copyrights.

Uh...I would recommend against printing it just because it's a colossal waste of paper. Furthermore, you already have the information in the form of a pdf - you don't need 500 pages to access the information. If it's a textbook or something check the relevant pages on your computer. If it's a novel or something put it on a phone, iPod, or preferably Kindle since that doesn't strain your eyes at all.

the reason I want to print is cause I couldn't find the book cheap. Its 180 some bucks in titles. And I found this pdf online for free but it's straining my eyes a bit. I wouldn't mind wasting a bit of paper and saving my eyes lol.

edit: btw congrats on getting into Queens!

I have a problem staring at screens for prolonged periods of tie. Not to mention how distracting your iPad or laptop can be.

I bought a kobo mostly to download books on pdf. The only problem is my textbooks are becoming so specific in subject that they aren't popular enough to be online. Also kobo's pages turn kinda slow, its not the same as having a textbook that you can check the index and flip back and forth. Its amazing for books tho Ive saved soooo much money.

Also, the 500 pages could end up being a waste, since Ive bought many text books where we only read chapters 1-7 out of 12 or something. Maybe print the chapters as the prof starts them? You may only print ~200 pages or something.
