No, I'm saying that it's not fair that they open them at random times for one year, during the time that a specific year will choose. This just causes people to watch SOLAR like it' the last thing they'll ever do, and they're stressed for a week until they get blocked off. If they don't get it then, they'll be stressed until August. If they don't get it then, they're stressed until the Sept Add/Drop date. It shouldn't be traumatizing for a student to choose a course, and they release seats at random times, that's why I'm saying it's not fair.

Thanks! Maybe that's why I'm not getting a seat, I'm up until 5am checking and then I wakeup at 2 :S....

It's not a bonafide requirement. I don't see why they're still holding so many seats because of this.

I got into Psych 2AP3 after the last post! Unfortunately, I dropped Bio 2B03 by accident instead of Chem 2OA3 and lost my spot in the class because someone scooped it up instantaneously. I'm hoping a seat in Bio 2B03, Bio 2C03, or Philosophy 2D03 opens up really soon!

Is there any reason why a course would say FULL to someone but AVAIL to someone else? :S

Yes.
I think if its not a mandatory course for your program, then it says full to you. But it would be open to others for who it is mandatory. |
