Psych 2C03 or Psych 2AA3
I'm having trouble deciding between the two courses; it seems 2C03 is a bit more interesting than 2aa3 but the tests are harder. (trickier short answer questions) The same teacher is teaching both courses however this fall.

Can anyone help me out here?

[Note: I did better and was more interested in psych 1x03 if that makes a difference.]

I've taken both courses, however I didn't have ostovich for 2C03 because I took it during the summer. Overall, it really depends on what content you're more interested in: child development, or social behaviour. On that point alone, I found 2C03 to be the more interesting course, simply because I've taken so many child development courses that I find them all repetitive and dull. Take a look at the course outlines and see which topics you're most looking forward to. Neither course delves too deeply into neuroscience so you should be okay if you preferred psych 1X03 to 1XX3.

I wrote a reply to this in another thread. I will just quote it for you. If you find the material interesting, then sit in her lecture and shadow it for free. You won't have to deal with the horrible tests and save money and your gpa.

Quote:
If you don't need Psych 2C03 don't take it! It will most likely rape your GPA. Look at her rating at RateMyProf. Worst is she is proud of the difficulty of her tests/final and will only be satisfy if the majority do not do well.. Not only that, she is such a double face. In front of lecture, she act all helpful until you ask for one on one help, then she mock and berate you until you stop coming to her for help.
