This course looked at behaviours shared by humans and most other animals. It looked at natural selection, cultural transmission and learning theory.

Life 2D03 and Psych 2TT3 are anti-requisites. Life Sci 2D03 is offered this term and Psych 2TT3 is offered second term. I am not 100% sure but I think they cover identical material.
They both have the same textbook.
They are both night classes taught by Dr. Beston.
I had him for Psych 2TT3. He's pretty good!

I thought this course was easy until the exam. I just wrote Beston's exam and unlike the decently easy midterm, the multiple choice was killer. For some reason they were super tricky, and I studied very well for this exam as well. The short answer was fine on the other hand, similar to his midterm! Otherwise, this class has an easy workload - only two assignments that don't require much effort and one midterm. Pretty interesting material as well, not too much memorizing, more understanding major concepts. Beston will always ask about significance of experiments rather than method of the experiment so be sure to understand WHY the experiment was done more than HOW. I also took this course with Dr. Beston this past year. It was a night class but the review is spot on! I loved the way Dr. Beston teaches the material, he paces himself and explains everything in a simple and understandable way. He has a lot of videos that supplement his teachings which is an added bonus and the material is quite interesting! Pretty cool stuff!

There were two assignments as well: each where they give you a topic and you can choose an article from a given list and write about it! Definitely attend all the classes, it's worth it! Great class, take it! Fulfills the Honours Bio requirement plus a cool course
