Have you sent your supporting documents to McMaster yet?

You should. They have to RECEIVE the document before July 17th in order to be considered for the QEII Scholarship. I also believe they give out scholarships later in the year.

I have a question;
How is it possible that your OSAP loan amounts are showing up on your OSAP page if you haven't sent in the required supporting documents yet?

It should be based on the information you entered online.. Don't think the consideration means that you get that amount for a loan though, until you've sent the rest of the documents needed.

Yea the documents are just basically for your declaration and parent consent. The amount of loan you have right now is just based on the info on your online application. The govt. will later verify the reported income. Your loan amount may also change later in the next couple of months (mine actually increased in august last year).
However, the QEII scholarship comes out later because the govt. needs the marks from high school students which usually come in early july. So the QEII information will come out sometime in early august.

It's not only marks. It's HIGHLY weighed on financial need. I got the lowest amount (100$) and my highschool average was 92-93.

I believe that the amount is decided by your financial need and not your marks. So if you get above a certain mark (I think 80) then you get the scholarship and the amount is then decided from ur financial need.

I'm pretty sure the scholarship is primarily based on your financial need. I had a 90%+ Grade 12 average, but since I didn't qualify for OSAP I received the minimum amount ($100).
Edited: I need to type faster!

I think I'm covered then
At least there are some advantages to being financially strapped

Yeah, but there is also that GIGANTIC disadvantage... you're financially strapped. I consider myself EXTREMELY lucky. I only have to worry about my studies and nothing else.
