				Question regarding course selection

I'm a second year Humanities student and picked my courses on SOLAR last night. The problem, however, is that I can't pick any of my Tutorials (core as well, but there's only one for each course I picked). It doesn't even give me the option, but rather just submits the course as soon as I pick it. Oddly enough, one course did in fact let me pick the tutorial.

I'm not sure if this is supposed to be happening, and certainly don't remember it happening to me last year.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Sectioning occurs in August. When it does, that's when you can fiddle around with cores/tutorials/labs. So, if a course just has one core, you'll automatically be put in it. The entry dates for this month were for only getting into electives and your mandatory courses.

It's not a "problem". The vast majority of courses don't let you pick sections now, although there are a few that do. For the rest, you can only pick the term and day or evening.

It did happen last year also This isn't a new thing.

You get automatically assigned sections and then as herBs said, in August you get the chance to try and switch them around.
