Question about Tutorial and Lab times
I checked my timetable today, and on Tuesday I have:
E O W
CHEM 1A03 L64
ABB 122A
14:30 - 17:20
and
E O W
CHEM 1A03 T64
ABB 136
15:30 - 16:20
Do tutorials take place during lab times? I'm confused. As far as I know, both of them being 64 means they're in the same week, right?
Thanks for the help! : )

It's every other week, so one week you'll have the lab and the next you'll have the tutorial.
Evens will have labs on one week while odds will have tutorials in that same week, the next week they will switch.

It's every other week (EOW). So, you have the lab one week & the tutorial the next week. That way they don't clash =)

Just a quick question though--if it says EOW, how do you know which of the alternating weeks is for which EOW section?

You'll find out in the course outline which may be posted on avenue before your first class, otherwise you'll find out in your first class.

Thanks everyone. : )
Seeing as the lab and tutorial numbers are the same, is it recommended that I go to the same-numbered classes? Or is it alright if I pick, say L64 but T63?

It'll only allow your to choose the same numbers for first year chem labs and tutorials.

I know for Chem they're strict about you going to your assigned lab, but I'm pretty sure you can go in to whichever tutorial is convenient for you, even if it's not your assigned tutorial.

Yeah, they don't take attendance and you aren't marked for anything in tutorial so you can go to whichever one. I believe the TAs themselves tell you that you can go to anyone. My advice is to attend multiple tutorials the first week of tutorials to see which TA you like best. They all explain things in different ways so you might find it easier to understand the assignments from a specific TA.
