RELIGION 1B06 and ENGLISH 1CS3, OR HISTORY 1BB3
Hi I'm a first year student at mac and I was wondering that between the three courses:

RELIGION 1B06

ENGLISH 1CS3

HISTORY 1BB3

Which one is the easiest elective to take. I can take english 1CS3 and History 1BB3, or I can take religion 1B06. I don't know which option to choose.

(NOTE: I already have two evening classes in term 1, and religion is being offered in term one for two semesters)

Thank you.

Well...
I find English rather subjective...
So is religion, but I had a good prof (Dr. Ross) for my course.
I don't like history, so I'll not hazard a comment on that.

english 1cs3 is both interesting and easy (because the content and enjoyable and the assignments are short/simple), i'd recommend that one

I took labour studies 1AO3 and it's pretty easy to do good in! You have weekly readings (which I didn't even do) and they all relate to what you learn in lecture. You have two assignments: one you summarize one of the assigned articles and critically analyze it. The other one required a bit more work where you actually had to have additional research to analyze an article. (I did both the night before and pulled off 80's on both). The exam was the easiest thing I've ever written. Note I'm a science student and writing isn't my best thing. You actually have to go to the lectures though (unless you have friends in this course) because Goutour (the prof) didn't provide any notes or anything.

Can you tell me what the assignments were about and the length and stuff. Also do you remember the format of the exam?

Thanks.

First assignment--> you were given three articles (about 10-20 pages in length from the courseware) and you had to choose one and summarize it in 3 pages, and write a one page analysis of it
Second assignment--> you were given three articles (about 20-30 pages in length from the courseware) and you had to choose one and incorporate it into your essay topic and you had to also find three additional journal articles and write a 4-6 page essay
Exam--> you were given 10 key terms and you had to choose 5 (they were all obvious) and you had to write 2 out of 5 essay topics (again the topics were so general that it was easy to write about)
