Why do you plan on retaking it? I knew somebody that had to retake a course because their degree specifically reguired a certain mark in a certain class, but if that's not the case, it's a huge waste of money and time.
Major problems? Only if you do shitty in the course again. If you get a 12 in it, your average for those 2 courses will be an 8. Is it worth the 500-700 dollars? Probably not (again, if a certain mark is required, different story)
Unless the class/mark is a prereq for something else, doing badly in a class rarely has consequences, asides from a lower gpa. Retaking it won't accomplish anything.
@The conflict problem: you can either e-mail the prof/department/counselors/whoever and explain that you have a conflict and would need to be placed in another tutorial for physics. Or you can just go to a different math core (you don't even need to change it on your schedule). People do this all the time.
