In the event that people don't jump at the idea of you renting for a couple of days... Why not look up motel/hotel pricing or the possibility of crashing at a friends?

Definitely looking into both of those options, although I'd rather not have to commute to campus from a hotel since I have work/class at 8:30. Blehh.

I dont see there being any takers on the prospect of letting randoms live in their house for a weekend like that... You should just get a hotel, or suck it up and go back to the house that you already have a lease on. Seems like a major waste of money to have a lease on a house and pay the expenses for commuting.

Thanks for the financial advice! FYI I'm not paying rent and commuting.

As for getting a hotel, I'll look into that the same way I'm looking into staying somewhere closer to campus.
