Rule about last day of classes in comparison to the first day of an exams ?

Rule about last day of classes in comparison to the first day of an exams ?
I supposedly have a class onApril the 9th and a final exam on Feb 13. Sorry, I am not wellinformed on this issue but is not there a rule about the number of days betweenclasses and the start of exams.
If anyone knows and can posta URL that explains the rule that would be great

and this OP isnt even a first year... there is only a 2 day period between end of class and start of exams... Yeah must suck having 4 days to study for an exam...

I have tutorials to attend on the 10th, and my first exam is on the 12th..
so you're actually getting off pretty easy..
I agree about your point, though. Mac should end classes a week or so early to give students a little study break before exams. May result in less sleep deprived zombies on campus.

You want someone to google for you and post a url? It's not like the rest of us have it bookmarked or something. The sessional dates are on the registrar's website as someone already posted, and in terms of "regulations", the dates get approved by the university senate so if there are issues, it would have to be dealt with then. I don't really see how telling you what the sessional dates are answers your question though. In the past there has been only one day "off". And if you are ever curious about the university's regulations, the course calendar has them in detail, as do various sections of the school website.

Nope there is no rule about last day of classes although no tests can be held after April 4th. Usually the last week of classes is just review or wrap up anyways

It is not just a class it is a 12-hour clinical day 7am – 7pm and the exam in course where we teach ourselves all the material. There are not lectures you just learn the material from these narrated power points.
Some schools have a rule about the last day of classes in comparison to the 1st day of exams
And I also have another clinical on the 10th 8:30 – 3:30. I was just more upset about April 9th because were told at the beginning of the term the previous Tuesday was out last day.

Dude, last semester I had 13 hours of class on wednesdays with 6 and 8 hours of class being my other days (around 40 hours of class a week). that went right till the end so I have no pity for you. Also if you teach yourself from the power points, there is no reason you can't get ahead and if they aren't posted till that day, just study everything else and be prepared with that; that way when you get the new material, that is all you need to study.
Either way, this is what university is and you will survive. Hell this week I have 5 midterms from friday-friday this week and although i am bitter, it is just a part of school

now now snowman, second year nursing/health sci is far more difficult than any other program at mac. we probably cant even begin to relate to how difficult it is to have to read lecture slides and teach ourselves material 
this op is getting no sympathy, rightfully so I say!!! |

Mac has always given 1 free day after last day of classes, and then fair game for exams after that free day. A day off should be plenty of time anyways since you should have been preparing for that 'early' exam even before the last week of classes.

im pretty sure nurses/health sci have 1-3 exams a term/ lol |
