Sectioning? Conflicts?
Hi,

So I'm a total newb: what does sectioning mean? I have a sectioning comflict in my second term anthro course :(

Also, I have to required courses that conflict - but it looks like Kin 1A03 core has two possible spaces. So why does Mugsi not just put Kin 1G03 in the only spot it seems to have, and 1A03 in the other?

It's also highly likely I'm reading the whole damn timetable wrong? :S

Thanks!

ps. Is this one of those "wait and see" type of conflicts because they're both required?

Sectioning is the process of getting course sections. Contact the department for the conflict, they should reserve a spot in the other section since it's a required course.

Kin 1A03 has only 1 space, C01 which means that only one core is available. The two times you see on the master timetable are 2 weekly lectures for the same section, meaning you have to go to both. I'm assuming you're in Kin, and so, both courses are required. So your best bet would be to contact the department and see if the conflict can be since everyone in Kin would have the exact same problem. I wouldn't just "wait and see," I would contact them asap!
