I have General Chemistry Principles and modern Applications +SSM
as well as Biological Science book 1/2 that I MIGHT need for my course....

BUT will I really need these textbooks for my courses in addition to the ones I will get?

You will probably never look at the books ever again. Anything you need to look up/reference is probably on the internet anyways, so you might as well make a few bucks selling back your old books.

I was in biochemistry! You won't need to keep any of your old textbooks since your old notes should be sufficient - and even then, you won't really cover much of 1st year material anyway. Just sell them!

I thought my first-year textbooks would come in handy, but you'll most likely never open them again. So I would definitely sell them if I were you.

agree with all of the posters above, also sell them while you can - professors are notorious for changing editions...then you're pretty much stuck with it.
