Society for Language Sciences

Enjoy learning new languages? Interested in the areas of linguistics, or how other areas such as psychology, health sciences, and physiology influence language production and perception? Then the Society for Language Sciences is for you.

This newly formed group, which aims to promote the study and enjoyment of language sciences at McMaster, has many events to foster relationships between students and members of the faculty, and to establish a community in which topics related to this field can be discussed openly. It's a great way to meet other students and professors who are also passionate about language sciences.

The Society for Language Sciences hosts get-togethers such as 'Meet the Profs', socials and movie nights. You can find them on Facebook; search for "Society for Language Sciences" and there find information about the society, its members and upcoming events. If you'd like to be on the mailing list to be informed about events directly, please e-mail [email protected].

We look forward to meeting you!
