sociol 1A06 does textbook editions really matter?
Im need to buy the Sociol 1A06 textbook, New Society pkgd with Society in Question but the edition I need is 6th edition. If I were to buy the 5th edition would the material differ a lot or will it be pretty much the same? The textbook is crazy expensive and I really would like to be able to find a used one instead!

Some profs will tell you whether or not there are any major revisions that justify buying a brand new textbook.

If he/she doesn't bring it up in the first class, just ask after the lecture.

There are a few differences
[You can get online versions of the table of content to see for yourself]
One noticeable one is there's a whole new chapter in the 6th edition
