When will solar be open for level III science students again? The above is what it states on my solar. Does the "except" part mean that it will open up for me again august 3rd?

don't know exactly, but this is what my "entry schedule for registration" says:

Monday July 12: reopen for all undergrad students for course changes

Monday Aug 2, 10:30 p.m.: solar closes for sectioning

Monday Aug 9: timetable release

Wed Aug 11, 8:30 a.m. solar re-opens for those students previously registered and fees cleared by aug 10 and for those students who are newly admitted after july 15

Monday Aug 16, 12:01 a.m.: solar re-opens for those students previously registered

Tuesday Aug 17, 12:01 a.m.: solar re-opens for all students


note that your "except" dates are when solar is closed. that's what i have. maybe someone else knows more...

I'm not sure if "fees cleared" means you have paid your tuition already or if you just have to accept the payment agreement. Can anyone confirm this? thanks!

SOLAR is re-opening for everyone on July 12th. Fees cleared usually means that you've confirmed the payment agreement.

where do you see the "fees cleared" part? on solar? payment agreement?

If you've confirmed your payment agreement, then the fees are considered 'cleared'.

I thought it was 12 am but i'm in SOLAR and it says it's unavailable...

Same! I really want to try and get into the elective that were full before.
The counselor i talked to said it was 12:00 thought... :(

the registrar's webiste said solar opens at 12am unless otherwise noted and it doesn't have anything noted for the July 12 opening. mac has gotta something better than mugsi and solar

From what it says on SOLAR, it's almost like it won't be open at all until August.

This system is so lame, I don't know what I'm gonna do if I can't get on!

It doesn't make sense to me that it wouldn't open unless you've confirmed your payment agreement.

I got mine open super late in June, i only had 2 days to select my courses and didn't get them. (because I had to have special permission to have it open due to outstanding level 1 courses). After mailing the faculty advisor saying that I didn't get a chance to pick them yet, she said i'd have to wait till the 12th.

Should I confirm my payment agreement that says I'm taking 3 units and paying them 700 dollars for the year? I think not.
