SOLAR strategy!
for those of you who've registered for your courses on SOLAR already, if you managed to get onto SOLAR at 11:40 pm and the link was still grey, at 12:01am did the link automatically turn blue so you could click it or would you have to refresh and start waiting all over again.
Basically, I want to know if it's worth trying to get onto solar early before midnight. Let me know, it's my first year!!

If I'm not wrong, the system kicks you out right at midnight, so there's no point logging on earlier.
Not on SOLAR, at least. I think you can for MUGSI this year, though.

There's no time limit/people limit on mugsi so you can log on to mugsi whenever but for SOLAR you'll have to wait until 12:00 AM! Just keep clicking and don't give up!

You're in that course as soon as you add it. But you have to Verify and Apply changes for them to stick! (same with dropping courses!)

The link doesn't automatically turn blue. Even when it hits midnight, the link wil be inactive until you click back to that page (if you the page open before midnight). Don't refresh - just click around the other links on the main page containing the inactive link, and when you return, the desired link will be active.

Actually I managed to get on at 11:59pm and the link was blue for me so I'd say try at around 11:55pm.

Used the "click till you drop" method. Got on at 12:02. Finished at 12:08.

No, it'll probably kick you out. Just navigate using the "exit" links at the bottom of the page.

The courses will save, you won't be fully registered though. You can amend and confirm the payment agreement as many times as you need to before payment is due.
