But you burned more calories walking to Main St. though.

Walking an extra km only burns an extra 5 or so calories so it's not really a huge loss. Maybe they work out or otherwise get enough exercise so they don't need it.

Well yeah, hence "maybe". I can't just assume they get enough exercise, but that also means you can't just assume that they are sedentary enough that losing that walk will be a detriment.

If you didn't think that it would affect them, then I really don't see the purpose of your post about burning more calories. Were you just making a note to yourself?

At any rate, I'm digressing. I enjoy Starbucks' cold drinks a lot more than their hot drinks. Too bad the time we're at school generally coincides with cooler weather.

Disgress all you'd like. Their drinks in general suck and are way too overpriced. And yes, obviously that is my opinion.

Meh. I'll still just be getting coffee like I always do. I have a feeling that they won't have a full drink menu for the on-campus location anyways simply because space would be an issue behind the counter and then having a ton of students in line waiting for fraps would take WAY too long.

That is true, you do burn more calories but I am quite a lazy person at times and don't feel like walking that far. I always don't mind it...

Broseph, just bring a regular laptop and write bad poetry. Also, have a guitar case next to you; you don't actually need to know how to play or even have a guitar in the case.

Goatees optional.

Kudos, moonlitnight like this.

As far as I've heard, there used to be a Starbuck's in the Basement of CNH, right by CNH B106. This was several years ago and I heard that they closed because didn't have enough business. Apparently students didn't want to pay so much for coffee.

And then they put in a Booster Juice that has astronomically high priced beverages. Doesn't make sense to me.
