Summer school transcript
I took a course at York U this past summer. Do I have to get a transcript from them and personally submit it to Mac or will they do it instead?

Have you in any way made McMaster aware you've taken this course and arranged for the credit transfer or validation? Did you get a letter of permission before taking the course?

You will probably have to ask them to send a transcript to Mac.

You have to get a letter of permission BEFORE you take the course and then you have to tell mac that you completed the course. You will get a pass or a fail on your transcript.

I did get a letter of permission before taking the course. I thought York U would send it to Mac automatically, but it's still not on my transcript yet.

Does York know you're a McMaster student? I don't think they have the information to send it automatically (they might not know you're a McMaster student, they probably don't have the address that you need it sent to). You either have to tell York to send a transcript to whatever office needs it (by giving them the above information), or physically get a transcript yourself from York and give it to Mac (if that's allowed--look at the letter of permission section of the science website for more information).
