I wanted to get into the same tutorials as some friends for the second term - are we able to switch our courses right now or do we have to wait until a certain date to do so?

You can switch your second term courses anytime until January 11th.

You definitely can switch things around now, if the sections you want are full though you probably will have to wait until January when more people will be switching out.

Yepp, you can switch any time before then.

I usually try to do so during the Christmas break because it's not as packed and you can actually get on, but you might have to wait til January if a tutorial you want is full.
