Take Stats 2B03 AND Stats 1CC3?
Hey guys,
I've already taken Stats 1CC3 back in first year, and I've heard good things about Stats 2B03 so I was planning on taking that as well. Stats 2B03 does NOT list 1CC3 as an anti-requisite however 1CC3 is no longer part of the course list and 2B03 seems to be the exact same course.
So do you guys think its possible to take 2B03 with a 1CC3 credit? or they just messed up because its pretty clear that they are almost the same course.
thanks

Hey,
That's exactly what I did last yr. It's actually not the same- 1CC3 was much easier than 2B03 but I did better in the 2nd if that makes sense. 2B03 has like <50% of 1CC3 material but the format of the courses are very similar to each other. Dr. Childs taught it and it was a really good course, I'd defs reccommend taking it on top of your 1CC3 credit.

Both are ridiculously easy. Though I've heard 2B03 was easier.
I'd definitely recommend stats if you plan on doing a thesis. It's also semi-useful for formal labs in Biology.
