Is it necessary/recommended to get all your supplies & texts before classes start?

Not texts, you won't get the readings until classes start anyways. Supplies aren't really needed either. Just bring a pencil and some loose paper in case you need to take anything down. But you'll get course outlines so you could write stuff on the borders and between paragraphs as well.

Don't buy the texts before class. The professor will often discuss thea value of the text to the class when they go over the course outline. Although some classes require a text, you don't necessarily need to have it to do well in the course.
