Tips for Commerce II
Hey,

I'm in the undergraduate commerce proggram and will be entering year two this coming fall. I'm just wondering if anyone has any tips on what I can possibly expect for this coming year.

Thank You!

you are going to have a lot of fun with 2MA3. those two reports are fantastic... :| make sure you get a good group for it though and your life will be slightly easier. you will have a busy year that's for sure but if you manage your time well, you can do very well in everything! I did so I know it's possible. You'll have lots of Friday and Saturday midterms. most likely a week apart or every week for like a month. it sucks A LOT. its critical that you are prepared and have excellent time management skills.

heres my run down of courses:
2MA3: marketing, have fun... do well on the tests to bring your marks up if you happen to fail the reports (like many people did)
2QA3: stats is easy
2FA3: finance was boring as hell and frustrating with Deaves
2AA3 and 2AB3: both accounting courses were easy and Prof. Mohammed is the best!
2KA3: info systems easy! take it with Montazemi because he uses weekly online quizzes from the textbook that are word for word (super easy you can get like 90-100% no problem) and it makes your exam < 30% which works great when finance is 50%
2BA3 and 2BC3: Organizational behaviour and human resources are wastes of time but super easy courses. HR will make you fall asleep. No one ever went to that...
ECON 2X03: Holmes ruined it for me but wasnt too bad and my friends told me Khan was a better prof. i took it in summer though

but you will survive
