Transcript Question
Hello,
I have a question regarding sending transcripts to McMaster.
The website says "A transcript is considered official only if it is sent directly to McMaster from the issuing institution in a sealed envelope." however I received my transcript from my high school and was wondering if I could mail it myself. Would I be able to mail it or do I need to get my school to mail it?
Thank You

Thanks for joining MacInsiders Po-Han. Welcome.

As it says on the site, you need to have your highschool officially send your transcript. If you send it, technically you could have tampered with it before it arrives at McMaster, which is why they ask the highschool to send it in a sealed envelope.

You should be able to request to your high school to send it in. Or there may be a way to do it electronically.

If you have any questions still you can always call up McMaster to ask.

Then if it is already in a sealed envelope would I be able to just mail it or do high schools have a special mailing system.
