International Student Welcome Orientation - Wednesday Sept. 3 - 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
The International Student Orientation will be welcoming all first-year International Students. The orientation will begin with breakfast, feature many speakers on various topics and lots of entertainment!
First Years in Conversation with Richard Wagamese - Wednesday Sept. 3 - 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
First year students and the McMaster Community are invited to join author Richard Wagamese as he discusses his award winning book, Indian Horse, a heartbreaking yet triumphant tale of forgiveness and resilience. See the McMaster Events App for more details.
Airbands Competition - Wednesday Sept. 3 - 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
This exciting event is a Welcome Week favourite. giving first year students the chance to participate in the fun and watch faculty and campus groups compete for the title of the best Airband. Involved in this event is a whole lot of dancing, music, and cheering!
PJ Parade - Wednesday Sept. 3 - 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.
The PJ Parade is a great opportunity for first year students to learn more about the Westdale community, meet their neighbours, and show faculty and residence pride.
Shine Off - Wednesday Sept. 3 - 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.
The Shine Off is a competition between residences and SOCS to see who can clean their car the fastest. Come out to support your residence, learn about Shinerama and get pumped for Shine Day!
T'was the Night before Classes - Wednesday Sept. 3 - 8:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Come to MDCL for a Faculty Fair, Guest Speaker, Tips for Academic Skills and Panel Discussion.
