Welcome Week Concerts
Hey everyone!

Quick question regarding the welcome week concerts - I know you have to present a printed ticket and your McMaster ID in order to get into the concert(s). Does this mean you can't bring someone with you (that doesn't go to McMaster)?

Thank you in advance!

You can't unfortunately. You have to show your printable ticket and student card. That's always been the case for the Friday concert-just for Mac students. Not too sure about the Tuesday concert though.

I'm almost positive non-Mac students aren't allowed at either concert.

The second one they are typically allowed. Because the second is a first year event and not an all-years event there are a specific number of tickets for upper years that can be bought. These tickets also include a few non-student tickets normally. So, yeah. Some years they allow non-Mac students to come to the second concert but never the free one for all students.

The second concert is for everyone or else they wouldn't have have a printable ticket on fb for everyone to get a copy of.

As for the "first year" concert, for anyone not in first year, they have to buy the ticket somewhere on campus to get in, which last year was sold for like 20 bucks.

Both cases you need to present your student card
