Wifi for Smartphone?
Hi, i just go a smartphone and it seems as though my phone could only connect to MacConnect server. But the problem is it's so annoying to login every time.
I would rather prefer to connect to MacSecure, in which you don't have to login every single time. Do any of you guys know the way?

It should be simply a matter of putting your mac id and password into its username/password settings. What issue are you having specifically with getting it to work?

I too have problems with using MacSecure, have to use MacConnect instead, which is a pain.

You need to give more information. I know android 2.3+ can access MacSecure. Not sure with other OS's.

Just follow the directions shown below. Use Advanced Manual Settings:

http://www.mcmaster.ca/uts/connectio...a_settings.htm

-WPA2 enterprise AES
-PEAP authentication
-wireless.mcmaster.ca
-thawte Primary root CA
-security: EAP-MSCHAP v2

just try to use an many of these settings as possible

make sure to set it up on a day when the wifi isnt usually overburdened. Setting it up in a library mid-day gives tons of problems, but early morning, night or weekend should make it easier
