I'm pretty impressed with Wikipedia doing this. While Reddit is doing they same thing, it's more symbolic for Reddit (I'm assuming a vast majority of Reddit users know about SOPA and are against it), while Wikipedia has a decent chance of reaching people that have no idea what SOPA is.
On the bright side, regardless of happens SOPA is basically dead now that the white house has come out against it.

Also, thanks for the lolz. I'm not sure why they're even asking when it says so on the website what they're doing and why, although by reading what they say, I suspect that many of them are the type to do things last minute and are in a rush to get on Wikipedia. Seeing the page redirected, they immediately start panicking simply because they don't care for reading anything than what they came there for.

You can also stop the page from loading right before the SOPA information pops up. I actually thought that they would completely disable wikipedia instead of just putting the pop up on every page.
