anyone know if theres a good amount of outlets in the rooms?

and do most rooms come with tall closets? cause I have those things from ikea that latch onto the clothes bar and hang down for u to put shoes and stuff in, but would i get unlucky and not get a closet?

Yea I was also wondering the same thing. I usually have a lot of things that need to be plugged in and I prefer having outlets everywhere rather than having to use power blocks

There's two outlets by the closet, and 4 by the desk. I ended up using a power block on the one by the closet (also by the cupboard with the mirror) so I could plug in my clock, bedside light, and hair dryer/straightener without having to unplug things. By the desk the only things I had plugged in were my computer, fridge, and christmas lights, if I remember correctly. And sometimes a phone charger or something.

Hi! Yeap, I lived in a triple in frist floor Woodstock last year and it was pretty huge. We had 3 bunk beds with beds on top and desks below which comes in pretty handy if you wanna avoid napping too much.. cause of, you know, the need to climb to bed and all.

The rooms are pretty large but keep in mind that having three people living together in a room clutters things up considerably.

The washrooms are pretty large. There are 4 stalls, and I don't remember ever having to wait for one to be free. As for showers, there are 3 showers + 1 bathtub/shower. I usually showered between 10 pm and midnight and was almost always able to use the same shower (the one closest to the hooks).

Nope, I was room 103. If you have 104 or 105 then the room layout is pretty much the same too. First floor is triples and singles only. Oh and yeah if you gor first floor, consider yourself lucky. We had 2 co-ed washrooms for each wing.. it had a shower and sink and toilet, so once you get the washroom you don't have to share with other people like in the communal washrooms that the other floors have.

Be warned though, if you have morning class you might have to wake up early to shower.

I'm in 104, and it sounds awesome. Yeah, I know, tell me about it; my biggest concern was the communal bathroom thing. So incredibly happy about the seperate bathrooms.

Room 220!

One thing I was wondering about is how good the lighting is in the rooms in general... mines a double, but since Woodstock is an older building does anyone find the light to be sort of dim/ lots of shadows in the rooms?

I was thinking of bringing a standing floor lamp...

Basically you have a light at your desk and a light in your closet and nothing in the middle. A Lamp would be a good Idea.

There's a light at each end of the room on each side, one above the closet and one above the desk. The bed is in the middle, and I put a desk lamp on my shelf there, both for reading before bed so I didn't have to get up again to turn off the light, and because there tends to be a dark spot in the middle of the room, even with all 4 lights on. The lighting for the desk is good though, as well as by the closet.

Oh good for you! The people in that room was awesome, I miss my neighbours lol.

Woodstock gets pretty dark at times though, I used to have my light on everytime I was in the room. The windows don't provide anough natural light.

I'm in 107 - is the layout significantly different from 103/104/105?
Thanks!
