Is it worth it do drop a course?
Hi, so right now im contemplating dropping biology 2EE3 (microbio) just cause i'm not doing all that well in it, and it probably will bring down my average a lot.
I didn't do very well last year because I slacked off a bit too much, but I'm trying to improve this year. All my courses are going pretty well except for microbio, so is it worth it for me to drop the course, or should i just try to stick with it.

My main concern is whether it looks bad when applying to professional/ graduate schools, if they see that i dropped a course, because that would mean that I no longer have a full course load (30 units) for this year, although I'm still a full-time student since I have more than 24 units.

So any advice? Should i drop the course before friday's deadline, or just try my best to not fail?
Thanks for any responses

drop it if u r not doing well in it

reasons for dropping:
- too late to catch up on everything
- IMO, 90% course load in one year and 100 % course load in subsequent years isn't that bad on a transcript
- ^ is not the only / major thing that looks bad on a transcript...i would say that a bad mark looks worse than a dropped course

so just drop it
