I think it's an institutional evil, how exactly would you prevent something like this in most courses?

Some courses require some show of knowledge in person (but that can be quite difficult to do in an essay-centric course), but I've even heard of people writing tests for each other (Invigilators don't seem to do a great job preventing this, but it's significantly more risky than having some one write an essay for you). There just doesn't seem to be an easy way around this issue without changing the way universities work...

Interesting article Rakim, I actually read the whole thing. I'm with tailsnake, though, as I don't see a feasible way to prevent this.

The harder it is in practice, the easier it will be later on.

If they can't do shit right now and graduate, they'll be useless to employers and after a few years will end up nowhere with not a single good reference.

Plus what's the point of a degree if you're not doing the work / enjoying it?

I don't know what was more depressing: the cheating or the atrocious typing skills of these higher education students.

I have to wonder how this guy is paid for this job. Straight up in cash? Because how would you put a job like this on paper without exposing so many people?

Also, he's written so many theses. Why doesn't he just go ahead, get his own PhD, become a professor and earn lots of money the more honest way?

Great article though, thanks for the link

the service in itself isnt exactly honest. How is this fair to the students who actually worked dilligently towards earning their degrees instead of copping out and getting someone else to do it for them?

I just feel like he could do a lot more, since he obviously has the intellectual capacity and patience.
