Aaron Childs, Math 1Z04/1ZZ5 - Some good humour, tended to teach things pretty well.

Jim Reilly, Elec Eng 2CI5 - Really nice guy. Every day he showed up excited and ready to go, and his notes made the textbook look like trash. Also, the full solutions manual posted online made the course pretty easy overall.

He teaches a variety of GIS courses, including Geog 2GI3, 3GI3, 3SA3 and 4FP3 and is also the instructional assistant for all GIS courses (including those he teaches) which there are around 7 or 8 of now.

I've had a lot of the profs already mentioned here, so I'm not going to re-hash any of them.
Had to reply when I read this, as DeLuca may be the worst prof (technically an I.A. as you said) I've ever encountered as far as organization. I doubt he even reads over the assignments he assigns... for both courses I've taken with him now the entire class has been utterly confused and stressed and I'm reluctant to take any more GIS courses (a subject matter I actually liked at a previous institution) because of him.

Judging by the amount of people in lecture before midterms/exam, I definitely agree!

Ken Sills for Physics! I'm not sure if he teachers anything other than first year physics, but he was awesome, very funny and informative.

Kee Yong for various cultural anthropology courses. He's such a pleasure to hear speak. You'll want to just absorb his thoughts, not write notes.

Dr. Moro (Linguistics 1A03)
Dr. Lovric (Math 1LS3)
Dr. Kim (Psych 1X03/1XX3)
Dr. Dushoff (Biology 1M03)
Dr. Kajiura (Biology 1A03)

All of them were really good in their own way!

My favourite prof has definately got to be John Mclachlan (EnviroSci 1G03, he teaches a few more higher level ones). He's funny, really nice, and such a good prof - he loves to give out answers if the class is looking empty because people didn't show up.

John Valliant for Chemistry 1AA3 is hands down the best prof I have ever had... I never really enjoyed chemistry, but after having him for a semester, I can honestly say that I love organic chemistry. He is an absolutely AMAZING prof.

Aside from his teaching, one time he made a mistake during his lecture, and the next morning he brought our whole class doughnuts and coffee (there was about 350 of us).. And when I say doughnuts I don't mean Timbits.. I'm talking about 6 platters of full sized doughnuts and two big crates of coffee.

Mahratta likes this.

I had Goward, but some of my friends had Landry, they had no complaints.. he is also the lab coordinator for first year chem labs. Hatala is the most popular 1A03 prof though.
