2 labs in one day
I was wondering if having a kin lab (1y03) and a physics lab (1b03) on the same day with an hour break in between is a good idea. The kin lab is EOW and the physics lab is every week, so that would mean 2 labs on one day EOW. Is that doable? Thanks

It's still exhausting, although you will only be doing this every two weeks.

First, the kin labs are really just tutorials. They're the least stressful thing you could possibly imagine. Your mark comes from the pre-lab quiz, and you get to keep that mark on the condition that you show up for the lab. (Disclaimer: they may have changed the course in the five years since I took it!)
Second, physics labs are...just weird. but not stressful. I found them rather annoying, but certainly not stressful or tiring, and I suck at physics.

Weird is a good word for the physics labs. It really depends on how competent the TAs are, I felt. When an incompetent TA was doing the rounds they were horrible. When the guy knew what he was doing they were informative and easy.
The labs themselves were okay. I found Alex annoying though, heh.

Just something to note and keep in mind to anyone in Life Science 1st year hoping to take level1 Kin, an email was sent out by the Life Sci admin Sarah Robinson yesterday detailing that Kin1Y03 and 1YY3 are no longer available courses for Life Scis. Instead they must take 2Y03 and 2YY3. Not sure for the reasoning behind this change exactly (maybe not enough spaces for lower years or demand or something), but this effectively prevents anyone in first year Life Science from taking Kin 1st year without a waiver. Only 2nd years and above can take 2Y03 + 2YY3. Here's the email itself:
Dear Students,
Please be aware of the following change in the 2013-13 Undergraduate Calendar: KINESIOL 1Y03 & 1YY3 are no longer available to Life Sciences students. Instead, students wishing to take these courses should choose to enroll in KINESIOL 2Y03 & 2YY3

KIN labs are very easy, and physics labs are generally tiring from my experience. Make sure you know the material beforehand in physics, or else it's very possible to run out of time.
