Hey guys,

I will be going into mechanical engineering next year and I was wondering what to expect in terms of the courses. Will they be similar to first year courses, or will there be more group work projects?

In general, which courses for 2nd year would be considered the most difficult. I hear the maths (2Z03/2ZZ3) are among the top.

Also, are there any profs in particular that we should be wary of?

Any upper years who have advice for those of us going into 2nd year (particularly mechanical eng) is greatly appreciated!

Trust me, and take Math 2Z03/2ZZ3 in summer, if you can. I aced first year calculus courses, but struggled with 2ZZ3, because of the sheer amount of content taught in that one course.

Damn, I wasn't able to take it this summer so I guess I'll just see how it goes throughout the year. Could you recommend any good profs for the math courses?
