I had professor Sorge for this class in first year and completely loved it. The lectures were interesting, and all lecture slides were posted. If he's teaching again this year, pay attention that what he takes the time to cover in class that is NOT in the lecture slides, you will 100% see this on a midterm or final exam.
Don't stress too much about the essay where you have to write about the day in the life of someone in the ethonographies assigned. I just skimmed the ethonography and pulled important sections, skimmed them, and made sure to include the most important milestones in my essay. I ended up with a 12 in this course.
