Best Places for Partying?
What's the best place in your opinion to go out to on a wednesday, thursday and friday in Hamilton? How are they during the summer?

Sizzle/Koi and Club 77/Dirty Dogs are probably the best places in Hamilton in my opinion if you like clubs. Calleigh House isnt bad on Thursdays and Fridays either. Asides from those places, Hamilton really doesnt have too many options asides from the other places that are in Hess.

I love going to Augusta, but most places are 21+, so if you aren't old enough then you'll have to pass. You can also check out Baltimore House or Homegrown Hamilton on King William. They have nice drinks, live music as well. Wednesday night is Motown at Absinthe which is lots of fun if you wanna dance your shoes off. If you're into the gay scene then Embassy on a Thursday is fun, it's drag night, but the music is always crap. If you want to go to Hess I'd say check out Che or Diavlo's, they play the best music and crowd is probably the least douchiest.

But those are just my favourite places to hang.

Absinthe/Mowtown Night is pretty decent on Wednesdays. The crowd during the summer is a bit older than during the school year though.

Augusta St. has some great bars. If you're around during the daytime looking for a place for lunch, The Ship on Augusta st. has an amazing burger

Great to see James mention Baltimore House... amazing place. If you haven't been there yet, be sure to check it out. A fellow McMaster Alumni, Grant Winestock, co-runs it. You can read their article in The Spec here.

Wednesday nights is their On The Air event: http://www.baltimorehouse.ca /live-music/ontheair
