There's two profs teaching it in different semesters, Dr. Gupta and Dr. Dej

Any idea which one is better? I've heard excellent things about Dr. Dej, but what about the difficulty of both of the profs? Is one prof's tests much easier than the other?

When I took the course, Dej was the only professor. I found her tests to be very straightforward. As long as you pay attention in tutorial and go over the lecture slides, you shouldn't have any trouble. Her tests include MC and SA, where the SA tends to include problems similar to tutorial questions.

Same profs as last year. They're both alright. Dej is a bit easier to understand but her voice puts me to sleep. <.< Some people found Dr. Gupta to be a little harder but I disagree, I just think that his part of the course was a little harder to understand and not as straightforward as Dr. Dej's.

As for the test, it was pretty straightforward; multiple choice and short answer. I had the course first term, and our tutorials sucked. There were lots of complaints about the tutorial quizzes being unfair because at times the tutorials were ahead of the lectures. I think they went better second term. My TA wasn't very helpful either. She was fine with the marking and such but she couldn't teach at all so I had to put in a little extra effort to learn the tutorial content.

Lastly there's also a tutorial paper. They assign you guys a research paper and you have answer 10 questions about it - pretty straightforward.
