So, im screwed as well as i have to take this one second year Engineering course (ENG 2B03)which is already full. Unless i complete that, i cant advance to level 3.
Does any1 know who the Engineering Physics academic academic is or where i can find their email?
I've tried firing off an email to the assistant dean's office but i keep getting automated emails back saying that my "acceptance package is ready to be picked up"??!! I DONT BLOODY CARE ABOUT THE PACKAGE, I JUST WANNA REGISTER FOR THIS COURSE.

It really depends on the faculty/department I suppose. I'm going into Computer Science and have nothing to do with the Geography department, but I sent Prof. Mercier an email requested a seat in one his full Geog classes in term 2 and he authorized me a seat. Formally, I had to add it to my timetable via SOLAR and it worked out. So, it wouldn't hurt to send an email to either the professor who is teaching the course or an academic adviser from that faculty/department. Good luck!

Most of the departments usually have an on-line form called "Request for Allocation" that you fill out on-line providing the details of what course you need and why and then those forms go to the department heads who then make a decision whether to allocate a course to you or others or not.

The other option is to just keep checking on SOLAR when someone drops a course, etc.

i contacted one of the academic advisors and she said there was a very high demand for my course and there were no available seats.. even though priority was given to sociology students aka ME (how stupid) -- so i guess my best bet is to keep checking solar
