Course Selection Helppp!
I had a question about how many courses you can take per semester. I have 18 units per semester and am a life sciences student, will I still be able to enrol or will there be an error? What is the maximum number of units a student can take per semester?

Thanks

Hey, you can only take 15 units per term. If you want to take additional units, you'd have to talk to the dean of your faculty to get permission but I don't think first years are allowed to overload courses anyways. Hope I helped!

Taking extra units only requires sending an email to the office of the faculty, not the actual dean. I've overloaded twice now, but I can cos I have an A average.

Considering how many first year students with supposed 80s from highschool choke so badly in first year, it's no surprise if they don't want to let a first-year student overload.
