CMST 1A03 is an easy first year elective....
SOC SCI 2P03, 2Q03 are easy 2nd year electives which can be taken by any student (they have no prerequisites)

Does anyone have any reviews/comments on these courses?

Also are these easy courses that do not require a lot of time?
Took this last sem and it was a disappointment... a lot more time consuming than I would've liked too. BIG assignments every couple weeks and Dr. Peace doesn't post any lecture notes online so you can't skip much unless you have friends in the class who will give you the notes. Midterm was pathetically easy (aced it) but the final was a bit tougher. The tutorials or labs or whatever you want to call them are the real downfall of this course... they're long, boring, and come with lots of homework... they just plain suck.

Does anyone know if the Ger 1A03 is cancelled for the following 2010 September? It's not showing up on the master timetable anymore...

Check the online undergraduate calendar. All the gerontology stuff got moved and re-titles into Health, Society and Aging, or something like that. If you click on Gerontology in the undergraduate calendar a link should be there.

Yes, I took it. It's easy if you go to class and complete all your assignments. Not everyone I knew in that class did well because they slacked off.

It's an interesting course, and if Dr. Moro is teaching this year, I highly recommend it.

I got a friend to see... but it's also a prerequisite for linguistics so hopefully it doesn't stay full

they DEFINATELY are not easy bird courses at all, there is a lot of material to cover every week with the lectures, and the exams are a lot to study for

the material is interesting, and theyre courses I would recommend, but not if your simply looking for easy electives
Agreed lol. I don't know why people keep on saying they're bird courses- they definitely are not.
