some classes might, some might not. on 2nd lecture of each class you will toh. even if they start teaching, it shouldnt be much anyways.

Yes. By work, I mean lecture material and assigned readings. For the first lecture, profs usually spend around half hour or so introducing the course, and then begin course work. Tutorials and labs don't start until next week.
