Free attractions?
Are there any attractions in Hamilton that McMaster students can get into for free or at a discounted price?

I know that the AGH is free for Mac students and was wondering about other places.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that all of hamilton's civic museums are free for undergrads? I think I read it in the swag package being handed out.

Even if they're not, here's a link to information about them all. I'd suggest visiting Dundurn Castle for sure, it's one of my favourite historical landmarks in hamilton.

Other than that, the farmer's market runs some free cooking demonstrations and workshops, open to the entire public, so that might be worth a look.

In general, if you're looking for events around hamilton, the hamilton public library's site has a calender on the side that shows some events going on in hamilton.

and of course, there's the locke street festival coming up.

I remember Dundurn Castle being free in the past, but it's not on that list anymore... If you plan on going or want to go you can always call and ask before heading out.

Edit: Yes it still is.
