Hey everyone
I was checking my McMaster account statement when I noticed that it lists the contribution from OSAP is $0 (when my OSAP entitlement is around $1500). I always direct my OSAP funding to Mac on my application, so that's not why Mac isn't getting anything. The only other reason I can think of is that my application hasn't been completely cleared yet, so I checked the status summary and under the things to do checklist it says "school must confirm enrollment."
I've already registered for classes, so I thought that Mac confirmed our enrollment then. How can I check for sure that Mac has confirmed my enrollment, so that I can get my OSAP released (preferrably to Mac so I don't have to borrow money to pay tuition and rent until Sept. 15)?
Does anyone else's OSAP status summary say this, or is it just me? (I'd definitely be more concerned about this if Mac has already confirmed everyone else).

Nope, my OSAP application says it's yet to be confirmed. I remember having same problem last year, it's all under control.

School won't be confirming enrollment until August 28th. You can check if it has been confirmed by using the OSAP website.

Tuition, if you did OSAP payment agreement, won't be due until Sept 30th.

Just in case, OSAP changed this year and is not doing a direct deposit of your funding straight to the school. Instead we must do it ourselves when funding is released. I haven't received any form of funding yet and I'm pretty sure no one is confirmed for enrollment yet. We do however have time to pay unitl the 30th of September if the OSAP plan was selected in the payment agreement.

Yeah, I miss when they gave you the option of having it sent straight to the school. Less worry that way.

Do you know if OSAP takes a few days to be deposited into our accounts? I just looked on the website and it said around 47000 was released to me as of August 30 (today) but there isn't anything in my bank..

its a long weekend, banks close early so you should probably expect to wait 1 business day before anything shows up
