What if you start the conversations, but more often than not, don't get a response? lololol I must epically fail. ^_^

Gotta pick the right topic and you'll get it. The right topic depends who you're talking to though...

IIRC You look like a scene girl (or at least you did last year) so most guys would assume you'd want a scene guy... kinda limits your options

Any decent looking guy doesn't have to date to get laid, I have about average looks and I sure as hell don't need to date to laid. Dating is about stability, security, compatibility, and happiness; house parties and alcohol, on the other hand, are about purely getting laid and having a good time

The guy could be playing Super Street Fighter 4, that game can consume you...

Correction:
"Oh yeah, the dude with the gundam collection, Ironman comic poster, Final Fantasy X keychain, experience at an anime convention, a giant technology fetish has no trouble getting laid."

It's amazing what having a bit of confidence and the ability to talk to and read signs from women can do for your love life regardless of your interests.

The best guys ever are the ones that strike up conversation, regardless of who you are. I love it when guys lean over and say something funny in class, or just make a comment/inquiry about the material.

That being said, i think everyone should take risks. I met one of my really good friends at the Mac art gallery, because I commented on how unsatisfying the exhibits were, and he agreed. We just hit it off from there.

"Forget the risk, take the fall. If it's meant to be, it's worth it all." LIES, ALL LIES!

But I agree with the first point. I love that, too.

Not lies.... Not at all... But I like taking the risk because whether it works or not, you still win They lose for turning someone down that took the risk on them.

Randomly striking up conversations with people can be a lot of fun. I don't always do it because I am rather shy and can be awkward, but I've met some really awesome people by doing that. You just have to force yourself to do it. I volunteered in Milan for two weeks and didn't know anyone, so I forced myself to talk to as many randoms as possible in order to not feel lonely. It worked! I'm best friends with one of them, and even went to visit her in Australia. So you never know where random conversations can take you!

OR you can ship yourself off to Europe for 2 months with nothing but a backpack... Its do or die: Make friends, or buy a volleyball, cake some blood on it, put some sort of hair on it, and go.
