I took it in first year. It was a pretty easy class. The first two months looked at how culture shapes health (healing, modern medical culture, experience of being ill, etc.), then the last month we looked at how public policy shapes health (OHIP, US Healthcare, etc.). There were two two and a half page assignments in which you had to do an analysis of an article worth 10% each, tutorial worth 10%, three quizzes worth 20% and another quiz worth 10%, there was no final exam so that was nice also.

Average final grades usually aren't released publicly. The average doesn't really give a good indication of how YOU will do in the course, though. Even if most people fail, there's nothing stopping you from getting a 12. Don't worry about what other people find easy or difficult or interesting or boring...what matters is what you want to do! Don't be afraid to take a course you're really interested in just because other people tell you it's hard. If you're interested, that will make it much easier and more enjoyable. If everyone tells you a course is easy, but you think it's the most boring thing in the world, then you won't want to do any work for it and probably will get a bad mark, in addition to wasting your time on something you hate.

Having said that, I've never heard anybody call this course 'difficult'.
