The reason for the double line would be so that first year students would have an accurate guess of how long they will be in line for. If there were two lines (one for -19 and one for +19), then at the legal limit for minors the line could be disbanded so that no one's time gets wasted.
On a side note, I encourage everyone to attend Quarter's tonight for the OUSA Blue Chair Bonanza.

YAY Queue lines!
I actually really like them. Unless I have to fix them.
Also, yay OUSA and yay OUSA chair on top of Compass!

Happy belated birthday Nino!
On Quarters:
Perhaps everyone should ask themselves whether or not the amount claimed to be lost is actually valid or just clever accounting that hides losses in other, more serious areas...just food for tought.

How about they clean up the kitchen so it doesn't get shut down for health violations? That'd be a good start

Mmm... unsanitary food.

lol,
If only there was a 4th year Marketing Course, taught by award winning Prof Vilks, that specializes in New Product Marketing and Re-Branding Initiatives. If only that course had groups of Students looking for companies to work for, For FREE. If only that course was offered in 2nd semester...
... oh wait... it is!
If only someone had recommeneded using Commerce courses like that one for this initiative... oh wait... I did, last year!
(If you think that "real" companies don't take these Commerce groups seriously, when I was in Vilks' class, my group worked for Audi Canada, and they liked what we did for them).

I'm going to go ahead here and just throw this out here:
"A rose by any other name would smell as sweet"...
Just because you change the name doesn't mean it is rebranded. Change the student's impression of quarters, not what they call it.

The name change will be part of the whole package.
My vote is for: "The Crab Hut"
Solid name.

As a current SRA member, and a person seeking re-election would it not be within your responsibilities to read and consider the things written by Ian instead of making more sarcastic comments for the sake of doing so?

C'mon Ro, criticism does not immediately equate to pointless rabble-rousing.
And as an SRA member elected by students (who are obviously not satisfied with Q as it is) Matt is doing his job better than any member who carries the See-Hear-Speak no evil banner. Ian even asks for SRA input at the end of the article that I'm assuming you read.
While re-branding will be a necessary step to a successful bar, Matt is right in pointing out that management issues have to be addressed. Food safety shutdowns, overstaffing, and bouncer harassment are all issues that have come up in the past, and I guarantee you that they are more to blame for poor performance than just a name.

also, The Crab Shack is better.
Although using "Crabs" in the name is honest on a Thursday night, it may not be the best policy in this case.
