so i know that grade reports just came out today but i was wondering when we would be able to reapply for second year programs again?
I didn't get into the program i wanted to (which i already knew before) so i am taking a summer school course in order to get into that program.

I don't think it is possible this summer. You should shadow the program of your choice this coming year and reapply at the same time next year.

a friend of mine, first picked biochem, then sometime in august, switched to life sci, now I don't know if she was already accepted into both of those programs and thus a switch could be facilitated, but still, thought I'd share that.

You can talk to an academic advisor whenever you want to try to switch programs. If the program you want to switch into has limited seats it may be tough though.

All that matters is if the seats are gone. Go into the school as soon as you can to ask if that is the case.

Also, seats may be filled up now. But as the year passes by, people may switch out of their programs (and of course at the end of the year if people fail to continue).
