Science 3EP3
I was wondering if anyone has done the Science 3EP3 course and where did you complete it? I'm really interested in it, but I have no idea how to get started. If you prefer, I would really like it if you PM me as well.

THanks!

I'm registered to take the life science 3EP3 course over the summer. I will be working with an orthodontist for 6 weeks

Are there any specific questions that you have related to signing up for it?

Thanks for your reply! Did you have to get approval from the SCCE office? And how did you go about finding your placement? Just emailing people or did the SCCE help in finding that placement in any way?

Thanks

Since I registered for the Life Sci 3EP3, it was through the life sciences department. It should be the same procedure for Science 3EP3 since the applications are quite similar. The department or SCCE will NOT help find a supervisor. You have to email profs to see if they are interested. My supervisor was one of my biology professors so she didn't mind supervising me. The best way to approach it is to email professors that don't teach 3 courses per semester. They are more inclined to take a student for these courses. You can check the master timetable to see how many courses professors teach in a semester. In terms of a placement supervisor, this is up to you where you want to do "job shadowing". You can do it in a hospital, veterinary clinic, etc.
