You don't need prior experience at the Sil to apply, just an eagerness to learn about journalism, writing and design. Applicants with the following skills will be given preference, however:

- experience with Adobe photoshop and indesign
- experience shooting and editing photos with DSLR cameras
- interest in entering journalism or communications as a career field
