Stats 2b03 Labs
HULLO,

Can Anyone provide some insight to how the STATS labs are structured? Are they optional and drop in style? Can I attend a lab section OTHER than my own?

Thanks

Drop-in style. You only need to go if you don't have Mini-Tab on your computer (They have them on the lab computers) or if you need help from your TAs. You also pick-up your past labs in your lab time.

They are optional and drop-in. If you have the software, you can complete all of the labs at home. When I took it in the summer, we could go to any of the lab sections (although they were all at the same time, just different rooms), and we could also go into the lab on our own at times not specifically designated for our labs. It might be different during the year, though.

Hey,

If the summer stats course followed the fall/winter term, then yes, the labs were drop in style and are laid back. The assignments required Minitab, which you can download on your computer and do at home (you get a copy when you buy the textbook or you can download it from the company's site for free). And if you need help, you can go to your lab time and work on it there and ask the TA's questions.

I think you would be able to attend any lab section but don't quote me on it.
